About me:
I am a software engineer, architect and project lead with focus on EAI. I work for Robert Bosch GmbH on the development and maintenance of Bosch’s global EAI platform.
Prior to Bosch I worked with telecommunikation providers such as Vodafone Germany and MobilCom on the integration of mobile data services and business process management and different Internet companies in Germany, the U.S. and Australia.
My current/latest projects:
- Flowfuse: Open-source workflow application based on the latest best practices and design patterns. Currently under development - for questions please use the users mailing list. More infos on the project website: Flowfuse.org.
- General Service Provisioning: While being developed as a JMS-based provisioning platform for telecom services, the provisioning platform proved to be suitable for complex business processes, too. Built on Sonic MQ and BEA Weblogic.
- Enhanced Workflow Management System: Web-based application for complex approval processes. This project was completely based on open source software such as Tomcat, OS Workflow, Struts, etc.
- Mobile Application Platform: J2EE integration platform which allowed 3rd party service provider to connect to MobilCom’s telco infrastructure such as for messaging (MMS, SMS), billing and user preferences. The platform was build in 2002 on the principles of a SOA - e.g. its client interface was defined in WSDL and proved to support clients implemented in Java, C#, Perl and PHP.
Personal Life:
In my personal life I like spending time with my girl-friend Petra, family and friends, free-climbing and mountaineering.
